FutureFoodS Autumn School 2025
From 19 to 21 November 2025, the FutureFoodS Autumn School took place at the Biotechnical Faculty UL, in collaboration with the Jožef Stefan Institute. The three-day programme combined scientific lectures, practical insights, field visits, and collaborative project work.

Janko Stankić Wins 1st Prize at ISES Europe 2025
We are proud to announce that Janko Stankić from the Department of Environmental Science, Jožef Stefan Institute, received the 1st Prize for Best Poster at the ISES Europe 2025 Workshop, held this year in Lisbon. The International Society of Exposure Science (ISES) brings together experts dedicated to understanding human and environmental exposure to chemical and physical agents.
HBM Group received the Excellent in Science Award for the Fourth Consecutive Year
At the ARIS Day event held on 12 November, awards were presented for the most outstanding scientific achievements of the past year. Among the 2025 Excellent in Science laureates, the Human Biomonitoring Group was once again recognized—marking the fourth consecutive year the group has received this prestigious distinction.
