At the upcoming O2 Seminar, Jure Ftičar will introduce GeoNode, an open-source platform designed to support the management, documentation, sharing, and analysis of spatial data.
Advances in Stable Isotopes: TrAC special issue available
Prof. Dr Nives Ogrinc has edited Advances in Stable Isotopes, a special issue of TrAC - Trends in Analytical Chemistry a leading international journal in analytical chemistry. The special issue brings together 16 papers on advances in isotope measurement and applications across environmental science, food authenticity, ecology, health, archaeology and forensic science.
New Researcher Joins the ISO-FOOD Center
We are pleased to welcome our new colleague, Ivana Drventić, to the ISO-FOOD Center. She joins our research team with expertise in atmospheric chemistry, analytical chemistry, and the transformation of organic pollutants in the atmosphere.

Strengthening Slovenia–Brazil Scientific Cooperation in Nuclear Applications
In June 2026, a scientific visit from Brazil to the Jožef Stefan Institute not only advanced collaboration in nuclear analytical techniques, but also further strengthened the inter-institutional and bilateral ties between Slovenia and the Brazilian Embassy in Ljubljana.
