HBM Group received the Excellent in Science Award for the Fourth Consecutive Year / 14.11.2025

At the ARIS Day event held on 12 November, awards were presented for the most outstanding scientific achievements of the past year. Among the 2025 Excellent in Science laureates, the Human Biomonitoring Group was once again recognized—marking the fourth consecutive year the group has received this prestigious distinction.

This year’s selected achievement was the study “A Strategy for Detecting Endocrine Disruptors in the Urine of Women with Ovarian Cancer,” authored primarily by Helena Plešnik and Žan Rekar. The award was accepted on behalf of the authors by Helena Plešnik. Tina Kosjek also took part in a panel discussion, contributing insights on achievements, challenges, and future opportunities in the field.
