O2 Seminar -1 April 2026 / 30.03.2026

On 1 April 2026 at 13:00, an O2 seminar will take place in the O2 lecture room, where three new research projects will be presented, focusing on waste valorization, analysis of volatile compounds, and the development of non-invasive diagnostic approaches.

Dr Marjeta Mancin and Dr Lidija Strojnik will present the following projects:

• WestDigest: Valorization of Rosemary Solid Waste: Exploring phenolic biotransformation across digestion and fecal fermentation phases
• GRAIN-VOC: Innovative strategies for identifying plant-emitted volatile compounds in response to fungal infections during grain storage
• Advancing Parkinson’s disease diagnosis by utilizing sebum volatilome as a noninvasive biomarker
