Lecturer: Dr. Oleg Travnikov
Title: Atmospheric Modelling under the O2 Department

Abstract:
Atmospheric pollution modelling is a relatively new but rapidly developing area within our department. By considering general atmospheric processes and interactions with the surface, modelling provides a broader perspective on environmental pollution and helps understand the links between pollution sources and exposure levels affecting human health and the environment.

Now in its second year within the department, the MSC-E Modelling Centre is actively expanding its research capabilities and contributing to numerous international projects. In this seminar, Dr. Travnikov will give a brief overview of the Centre’s ongoing research topics and interests, aiming to encourage the exchange of information and ideas among the various groups within the O2 department and beyond.
