Join us for the O2 Seminar on 15 October 2025 at 1 PM in the O2 Lecture Room and online. Our young researchers will present their work, followed by Dr. Polona Vreča, who will share highlights from the COST Action WATSON project.
In the first part, several of our 6 new young researchers will introduce themselves — a great chance to get to know the new generation of scientists in our community.
In the second part, Dr. Polona Vreča will present:
Outputs of the COST Action project “WATer isotopeS in the critical zONe: from groundwater recharge to plant transpiration (WATSON)” (CA19120, watson-cost.eu).
This successful European project began in 2020 with its first meeting held in Ljubljana.
For a glimpse into the project’s energy and collaboration, enjoy a short multilingual video capturing the WATSON network in action:

The seminar will conclude with a small celebration marking the publication of the WATSON WG1 team’s review paper,
“Recent Advances in Tracer-Aided Mixing Modeling of Water in the Critical Zone,”
in Reviews of Geophysics.
