You are invited to a public presentation lecture by Dr Oleg Travnikov entitled “Atmospheric Pollution Modelling: From Fundamental Research to International Environmental Policy.” The lecture will take place on Tuesday, 19 May at 9:00.

As part of the procedure for election to a research title at the Jožef Stefan Institute, we kindly invite you to a public presentation lecture by Dr Oleg Travnikov (Department of Environmental Sciences, O2), entitled:

“Atmospheric Pollution Modelling: From Fundamental Research to International Environmental Policy”

The lecture will present the development and application of atmospheric pollution models used to study the transport and transformation of hazardous pollutants at regional and global scales. It will highlight the role of numerical modelling in advancing scientific understanding of atmospheric processes and supporting international environmental assessments and policy frameworks.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, 19 May at 9:00, in the lecture room of the Department of Environmental Sciences (O2) at the JSI Reactor Centre. It will also be available online via Zoom.
