O2 Seminar – 2 September 2026 / 27.08.2026
We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming O2 Seminar featuring Dr. Luca Fredianelli, Senior Researcher at the Institute for Chemical-Physical Processes of the Italian National Research Council (CNR).
In his lecture, Dr. Fredianelli will present approaches to the analysis and assessment of environmental noise from multiple sources, including road, railway, aircraft, port, and wind-turbine noise. Drawing on his extensive experience in environmental acoustics, he will discuss methods for measuring, analysing, modelling, and assessing environmental noise, as well as its broader impacts on communities and health.
Dr. Fredianelli is visiting the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) within the framework of the JSI–CNR bilateral research project EQUINOISE – Testing Methods for Equity in Noise-Induced Annoyance and Sleep Disturbance from Different Sources in Italy and Slovenia. The seminar will also provide a broader context for the ongoing research collaboration within the project.
