Research areas: My research focuses on human biomonitoring (HBM) and trace element analysis in biological, food, and environmental samples. I specialize in sample preparation (acid digestion using the Ultrawave system) and multi-elemental determination by ICP-MS (Agilent 8800), including metrological aspects such as the use of certified reference materials (CRMs), stability testing, and participation in international intercomparison exercises. My work also involves the optimization of analytical methods and the development of robust procedures that ensure high data quality and traceability. Within HBM, I am involved in all stages of the process — from preparation of sampling materials and field sampling to laboratory analyses, data processing, and interpretation. |
