Janja Vidmar and Eva Kranjc from the Department of environmental sciences participated the 3rd International conference NANOAPP 2017 which was organised in Bled, Slovenia from 14th – 18th June 2017.
At the conference world-renowned scientists in the field of synthesis and applications of novel nanomaterials for medicine, biotechnology, energy, environment, sensors, and textiles had the opportunity to present the latest research and discoveries in the field of advanced nanomaterials and their applications. Great emphasis was also placed on delivering information about the impact of nanomaterials and nanotechnology on the environment and human health.
Janja Vidmar gave oral presentation of her work entitled ¨The behaviour of zero-valent iron nanoparticles and their interactions with Cd2+ in wastewaters investigated by single particle ICP-MS¨, while Eva Kranjc presented her work ¨Comparison of Arugula (Eruca sativa Mill.) and Escarole (Cichorium endivia L.) Interactions with Foliar- and Root -Applied Platinum Nanoparticle¨.
