“Mercury concentrations in biota in the Mediterranean Sea, a compilation of 40 years of surveys”. The data base includes  a total of 24,465 records from 539 sources and included in Mercury in Mediterranean Biota (M2B).

Contributors of the Department of Environmental Sciences co-authored an article entitled "Mercury concentrations in biota in the Mediterranean Sea, a compilation of 40 years of surveys" in Nature Scientific Data, summarizing the results of 24,465 records from 539 sources now included in M2B mercury database in the biota of the Mediterranean. The M2B database is intended to support the implementation of the Minamata Mercury Convention.
